Disbelief Suspended Indefinitely

Hey Hey, back again. The washing machine stole one of my firkin socks!! So bloody annoying! Thats why I put my socks in wash bags, so I don’t end up with odd pairs – not that I’m against that (sometimes I purposely mix them up) – and whenever the bag managed to come open, I always lose one!

Anyhow, last night I went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. WOW! Thats all I can really say, WOW! It actually surpassed my expectations.  David Yates, who also directed The Order of the Phoenix, and am very glad to say will be directing The Deathly Hallows Part I and Part II. What he did with the characters, the movement and the not so easily transformed parts of the book was stunning. His suspension of disbelief was thoroughly whole. It was fast passed, funny (much funnier than the last ones), suspenseful, and completely made you love, hate, cry, laugh, worry, despair, and hope with all the characters – even Draco Malfoy (though secretly I have always had a soft spot for him)!

Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), Emma Watson (Hermionie), Bonnie Wright (Ginny), and Tom Felton (Draco), all held very true to the characters, and in my opinion, did stunning performances! Not only the principals, but all the supporting actors and actresses did a brilliant job, because with out them, the principals wouldn’t pull it no matter how great their acting.

All in all, it was a great film. I believed it completely, and I think I will continue to every time I see it! I would actually go and see it again, so shut down your computer, and get to that cinema!!
